Sarah Jones, a college graduate with dreams of becoming an artist, discovered a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. This shift in focus led her to hire a life coach who helped her uncover her true calling. Inspired by her own experience, she decided to become a coach herself.
Initially working under the guidance of mentor Adam Gilad in Los Angeles, Sarah eventually branched out to start her own coaching company, Introverted Alpha. The aim of her business was to assist “smart, introverted men in becoming benevolent badasses and naturally attracting women.”
Unsurprisingly, Sarah discovered that she particularly enjoyed coaching logical, engineering-minded men, as they mirrored the individuals she admired in her personal life. After completing a program by Ramit Sethi, Sarah launched her business in 2014. Although it took some time for her business to gain traction, Sarah’s persistence paid off. She found success by refining her branding, honing her positioning, and implementing marketing strategies she learned from industry experts.
Since November, Sarah’s monthly income has averaged around $10,000. Her clients, predominantly heterosexual men in their late twenties, seek her guidance on building meaningful relationships with women. To address their concerns about appearing awkward or creepy, Sarah developed a program called “First Touch to First Kiss.” This ten-step sequence deconstructs the dating process, making it more manageable for her clients.
When evaluating potential clients, Sarah carefully selects individuals who have their careers and personal well-being in order. She then tailors her coaching to their unique situations, helping them bridge the gap between their current circumstances and their desired outcomes.
Sarah offers three coaching options: 20 sessions for $9,400 or $7,200 upfront, 10 sessions for $4,800 or $3,700 upfront (the most popular choice), or five sessions for $2,500 or $2,000 upfront. The sessions are conducted via video call or phone, with all interactions recorded for future reference.
Sarah’s unwavering dedication to her business is evident in the approximately 50 hours she devotes to coaching each week. Her clients consistently express gratitude for the positive impact she has on their lives, and Sarah feels fortunate to work with such inspiring individuals.
For those considering a career in coaching, Sarah shares some valuable advice. She emphasizes the importance of having confidence in your ability to help others and developing strong business skills. While a spiritual inclination may inspire one’s desire to coach, Sarah stresses the need to balance it with practicality and a systematic approach. Learning from respected mentors is also crucial to personal and professional growth.
The field of relationship coaching continues to thrive as individuals seek guidance in navigating the complexities of modern romance. As the world evolves, the demand for expert coaches like Sarah Jones only grows, ensuring a bright future for this burgeoning industry.
